Med CareEast, P.A. was established in 2007 by Gina Hathaway, MSN, FNP. Our mission is to provide comprehensive, compassionate, quality and affordable care to our patients. We pride ourself on being able to provide continuity of care to our patients and getting to know them.

Gina Hathaway 
MSN, FNP

Gina Hathaway was born and raised here in Pitt County. She graduated from JH Rose High School in 1983. She attended East Carolina University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in finance, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and Masters of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner. Gina is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing as well as Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society and Golden Key National Honor Society.
